AVM took part in CIPM 2026 in Xiamen from October 27 to 29, presenting several product developments for the pharmaceutical industry. At Booth 5-B13 of the Xiamen International Expo Center, the company showcased a new rapid transfer port (RTP), multiport diaphragm valves and a newly developed pressure-capable split butterfly valve (SBV).
Throughout the exhibition, the AVM booth welcomed both familiar customers and new visitors. The displays provided an opportunity to examine the equipment up close, exchange ideas with the team and discuss potential applications in pharmaceutical production environments.
This year's presentation brought together three different equipment developments. Rather than focusing on a single product category, AVM used the exhibition to introduce solutions related to material transfer and process flow control.
The newly presented rapid transfer port was one of the main attractions at the booth. Visitors could inspect the transfer-port components and container assemblies, gaining a clearer understanding of the equipment's physical arrangement and connection interfaces.
Rapid transfer ports are used as transfer interfaces between equipment or controlled process areas. Their suitability depends on the specific material-handling procedure, the connected enclosure and the way containers are installed and operated. These factors need to be considered together when evaluating an RTP for a pharmaceutical production line.
By displaying the equipment in assembled form, AVM gave visitors a practical reference for discussing transfer arrangements and possible project requirements.
AVM also introduced new multiport diaphragm valve configurations. The displayed products included different valve-body arrangements with multiple connection points, giving visitors an opportunity to compare their external structures and discuss potential process layouts.
In pharmaceutical process systems, valve configuration needs to correspond to the required flow paths and operating sequence. The number and position of connections, installation space, process media and cleaning requirements are all relevant when determining a suitable arrangement.
During the exhibition, visitors could view the valve assemblies directly and communicate their application questions with the AVM team. Detailed configuration decisions can then be developed through process drawings and project-specific technical review.
Another development presented at the exhibition was AVM's newly developed pressure-capable split butterfly valve. Its appearance at CIPM 2026 added a further product highlight to the company's transfer equipment presentation.
Split butterfly valves are associated with contained powder transfer between connected process equipment. For a pressure-capable design, the intended operating conditions are particularly important during product evaluation. Factors such as operating pressure, temperature, transfer procedure and equipment interfaces need to be reviewed against the approved technical documentation.
The new SBV attracted attention from visitors interested in transfer equipment developments. AVM can further discuss its configuration and applicable operating conditions with customers according to their individual project requirements.
Beyond the product displays, customer communication was an important part of AVM's participation. A number of the company's long-standing pharmaceutical industry customers visited the booth after learning about the exhibition. These meetings offered an opportunity to reconnect, exchange updates and review the latest equipment developments in person.
New visitors also stopped to learn about the products and discuss their potential uses. Direct conversations allowed the AVM team to better understand the topics that matter to customers, while visitors could examine the equipment's visible structure and raise questions about their own production requirements.
For industrial equipment projects, this kind of communication is a useful step before a detailed technical evaluation. Product selection still requires drawings, process information and confirmation of the relevant specifications, but an in-person introduction can help both sides identify the next points to discuss.
CIPM 2026 provided AVM with an opportunity to present its latest developments to the pharmaceutical machinery market and strengthen communication with industry contacts. The new RTP, multiport diaphragm valves and pressure-capable SBV represented the main product highlights of the three-day event.
AVM appreciates the customers and visitors who came to Booth 5-B13 in Xiamen. The conversations and product discussions during the exhibition provide a valuable basis for continued communication after the event.
Customers interested in the displayed equipment are welcome to contact AVM with their process requirements, equipment layout or application details. The team can then discuss the relevant product configuration and technical information for each project.
